During today's workday I didn't do that much work because there wasn't that much to do. I tried to do as much as possible so I took care of the system. Taking care of the system was easy because liam and dane did the pH and tds and I harvested and tied up all the tomatoes plants. Those tasks were easy to do because I've tied up and harvested the tomatoes so many times. I also had to print two copies of my recipe packet which I failed to do because I only printed it one copy of the paper the first time so I needed to go back and print more. Today was a very easy day because we watched documentaries for the rest of the day. I liked most of them however some of them were bad and looked incomplete.

 

My group worked well today and we accomplished the work that we needed to very fast. I liked our group a show well we worked together.

Work blog 24

During today's work day I didn't do as much work as I always do however I did work. I helped liam a s much as I could on the documentary by taking a few videos, as well as making voice overs. I enjoyed doing this because this task isn't too easy or too hard. This task is also enjoyable because of the fact that we all work together and work to complete a common goal however this task was incredible stress full because we learned that our documentary had to be 5:30 and lower and ours was originally 8 minutes so we had to scramble and take certain things off our documentary. I also took care of our system which means that I had to pull out dead tomato plants as well as harvest the ripe tomatoes. I enjoyed this task because it was very easy. I also did the poster which was hard because I'm not that good of an artist however I finished the poster. I also finished the shopping list for our cook of

My group worked really well together and we got a lot done even though Nari wasn't here today.

Work blog 23

On the twenty third work day of this quarter I worked on our system (like I do every single joint period), and getting interviewed. Working on the system required the same treatment as always which is getting Easier and Easier as time goes by because today I was Abel to finish taking care of the system in 5 minutes which isn't that long. I enjoyed working on the system however It fells kind of like a bother now because it's all the same. However I also enjoyed working on the voice overs even though liam was yelling at me when I messed up. I enjoyed working on that because it's new and different. It's not a routine task that I do every day. I was also asked questions during the interview which I enjoyed the most because we have to talk during the interview and I like to talk.

 

During today's work day dane, liam, Nari, and I worked really hard today and we finished working on the posters.

Work blog 22

During today's work day I did a lot of work. I helped liam a lot on the documentary. I took a few videos, interviewed a few people, as well as making voice overs. I enjoyed doing this because this task isn't too easy or too hard. This task is also enjoyable because of the fact that we all work together and work to complete a common goal. I also fixed our system which means that I had to pull out dead tomato plants as well as harvest the ripe tomatoes. I enjoyed this task because it was very easy day. I enjoyed working inside the noise canceling station to record our voice overs. That room was the coolest place on campus in my opinion.

I think that my team worked well together even though Nari disappeared for an hour and was nowhere to be seen.

Work blog 21

During today's work day I did a lot of work. I Was able to complete the reflection which was a pain in my opinion. I think that it was a pain because we had to point out our mistakes yet age like what we ha even doing for the past few days. Overall I think that this was a fairly easy task to complete because the teachers and chef practically told us what to write. Another task that i completed today was taking care of our system. Taking care of our system is the easiest thing now because of the sheer amounts of times I took care of our system. I also did some filming and I got filmed today which was easy. Today was a very easy and fun day and it was kind of easy.

One topic that interested me is World War One and how that led to the shifting of power during that time. This led to it because Russia was weak after all the fighting and they felt that this was the best time to strike. This began the revolutions of 1917-1923

Another topic that interested me is the revolutions of 1917-1923. The revolutions formed a revolutionary wave which many people and places were affected this was part of by the end of World War I and the Russian Revolutions of 1917 in particular. Some historians say that the wave ended in 1919 or 1921.

Another topic that I'm interested In is Bloody Sunday. I am interested in this because my great grandpa was part of this event and he was shot in his leg however he lived. This event included protests and that is why they were fired upon many people died in this event and it was forever known as Bloody Sunday. They were attempting to present a petition

What is federalism and how did it end Russia

 

Federalism is the dominant social system that controlled Russia during Lenin's rule. It was also commonly used during Medieval times. It was basically entrusting the rich with higher status jobs and lower people to work Easier and more labor intensive jobs however both classes of people were given housing and military protection. It led to the fall of Russia in the year 1886

 

What is communism and how did it rise

 

Communism is a socioeconomic system structured upon the common ownership of the means of production and characterized by the absence of social classes, money, and the state; as well as a social, political and economic ideology and movement that aims to establish this social order. So it is basically fairness and equality to all people. It rose with Lenin when he came into power.

In November 1927, Joseph Stalin launched his revolution by setting two extraordinary goals for Soviet domestic he wanted to become completely self efficient. He didn't want any help from any other countries.

Cooking field trip

Today we went on a field trip to Kapiolani community collage yet again and we had to cook our dish once more. I liked the taste of our dish more this time because the vegetables had a better taste to them. The vegetables weren't overpowered with the taste of wine like they were last time. I think that the chicken was lacking taste and it still wasn't good enough however I don't know how to fix this problem. I was thinking about seasoning it with some more salt or something. I know that we need to add more fresh vibrant collars to our dish such as mint or cilantro.

 

While we were cooking our dish at Kapiolani community collage cooking facilities we worked really well together and we were able to finish our dish a bit earlier than other groups. We didn't need any extra time. As we were working we cooperated with each other through every step of the process and I believe that this is what made us such a good team we yelled out what we were doing and helped each other when we needed it. We did a lot better than last time because everyone knew what they were doing how to do it and why they needed to do it. I think that the execution of our dish was near perfect. In the end we worked a lot more time efficiently than last time and we were able to complete our dish 100 percent of the way. I think that the way we were commanding our group was why we did so well. I am glad with the way our team work was today.

 

Me and my group thought that we need to improve the recipe because our team work was great. My group will also meet on Saturday to practice cooking our dish. I can't wait to return to KCC and do even better and make a better dish.

Sleep STEM

Today during class we learned about the importance of sleep and the impacts that sleep has on your life if you don't get enough of it. I never new that sleep was so complex and has that large of an impact on your health and well being. I always thought that sleep was just about your brain falling asleep and in the morning it was about your brain waking up. I never new that there were so many different parts of sleep such as deep sleep. The lesson about sleep was very eye opening to me and my sleeping habits. I learned that I need to change the sleeping habits.

 

While mr.kaneko was teaching this lesson I realized that my sleeping habits weren't as good as they could be. As he was talking I thought of how little sleep I get. I usually fall asleep around 11 o'clock at night and that is really bad because for my age I need to have a minimum of 9 hours of sleep every night however I can't do that all the time because I usually get home at six because I have tennis and then I have to do homework which I don't have a lot for mpx however I do have a lot for math and science. The worst part about that is that I always wake up in the middle of the night and I can't fall back to sleep and it also takes me a long time to actually fall a sleep.

 

This unit about sleep was very eye opening about my sleeping habits and thought me that I had to change my sleeping habits because my energy when I wake up is very low and I want to fall back to sleep. I usually fall asleep at 11 or 12 and I wake up at 6. I never new that there was something called a rem cycle and I found that to be the most interesting part of the unit.

Work blog 20

During today's work day we had to accomplish very few and easy tasks to be exact we had to finish making the shopping list, and we had to cut off all the dead excess weight from our plants so my group was able to accomplish both of these tasks. All of use did the first task however only me and liam accomplished the second task and we worked well as a group I think that today was a very layback day because for the second half of class all we did was watch videos which was fun because some of those videos were hilarious for example rastaponics video. I thought that all of the videos were not that good and had a lot of errors and we need to elaborate and re interview some people and get some better shots of our system.

I think that during the first half of the day we worked well together but when it came to the shopping list all of us were arguing about what they wanted to buy then me and liam said that we will assign them equally and that was the end of the argument.

Humanities game

The game called "Republia times" is a very fun and interesting game where you pretend that your a news paper editor and you have to organize the news from the day and arrange it so that you can manipulate the public and increase your ratings in readers as well as the loyalty of your readers. The objective of this game is to pass a lot of different levels and in each of those levels you have a certain adjective that you have to achieve weather it is gaining credibility or readers. I think that this is a fairly fun game however I don't think that this game is something that I would play on my own time. From this activity I learned how some news paper company used there stories to manipulate people and to broadcast only the good news from there nation which I believe Russia did during the Russian revolution.

While I was playing this game I learned a few tricks on how to increase your loyalty rating as well as your reader amount. The way to increase your loyalty rating was by boasting your country's accomplishments as well as not including things that your country didn't do well such as a ship that sunk during battle . This game was very hard to beat because in order to increase your reader level you need to report the important news such as sinking of ships and not happy news such as a player from there country winning the national championships. Overall this game was more challenging than fun and I had trouble beating it.
