The two dishes that I decided to make was the the lemon chicken and couse couse maid with chicken broth. The reason why I chose to make these two dishes was because these were the best tasting dishes in my opinion. I liked these dishes because they were both twists to two common foods that I normally like to cook. I usually make chicken with a little bit of paprika, garlic, onion, salt and peeper however this is a better way to make it. I also choose to make cous cous because after the event it became one of my favorite dishes because I usually maid it with cheese and that was it however after we went to Kapiolani community collages culinary school I learned different ingredients that could enhance the cous cous such as chicken broth. The liquid that I was using for cous cous before chicken broth was water which doesn't taste as delicious as chicken broth.
Although I cooked the cous cous and chicken because they were my favorite I also enjoyed making the miso dressing and I thought it tasted delicious. I also liked the other sauce we maid as well as the salad. I would have cooked those dishes however I couldn't because I didn't have the necessary ingredients to make the side salads or sauces. If I would have maid the lettuce covered with the miso sauce dressing I would have placed the lettuce leaf under the cous cous which would have maid the dish more visually appealing.
I learned many different cooking recipes from Kapiolani community collage and I want to continue learning new recipes. I want to learn many more different cousins which is what they teach at Kapiolani community collage culinary school. I hope that the next time we go to Kapiolani community collage we learn how to cook Mexican cuisine
