As I reflect upon Friday's event I think that as a class we did very well. I think that we did this well because we worked really hard and made the event almost perfect. There were a few aspects that didn't go that well for example I asked the manager many times for more pamphlets and the manager completely ignored me every time I asked, also I think that when we announced who won the shoes the tone of the announcers sounded really sad and tired and I herd a parent say "wow this sounds sad" when Michel was announcing the winner of a shoe. However other than that I think that the event was overall a good event.
Some concepts I improved upon during the event included not being nervous when I talk to people. I think that I didn't get that nervous when talking to people. I think I did a lot better in this event rather than others because of the practice I received when I talk to guests. Another concept I improved upon was being able to make a bibliography in mla format. I didn't know how to do this before and as I was working on it I learned how to format my bibliography. Another concept I learned about was the writing proses to be more specific I learned writing fluency as well as the proses of revision. I liked working on the proses of revision because it helps me with the revision of my work as well as making my work look neat and well written.
Ways that this assignment had helped me on my writing proses was by continues repetition and the extensive study of it during class. I enjoyed the way we worked on this and I hope that I can work on a proses similar to this one. I liked writing my prose because it was a different type of writing style and it was an enjoyable type of writing. I think that we might have worked on the prose a bit less compared to the shoes however it was still fun.
