Work blog 19

Today was a rather slow work day because I had to do two minor jobs and those jobs included fixing up our system which I asked Nari to do however she said that she didn't want to do it so me and dane both worked on the system together and we finished rather quickly than me and dane interviewed each other for the documentary only to see liam throw a temper tantrum and insult us on the sound quality of the video. I think that taking care of the system is the easiest job because of how many times I've done it. After that I was given assignments to do from ms.calabro. The assignments that ms.calabro told me to do we're very easy because it was just telling people to turn in there 15 sentence essay with a work cited page and telling people to come back into the class room. I also worked hard on pricing out the plants for the plant sale tomorrow.

 

All these assignments were very easy however liam got mad because he attempted to steal Isabel's idea for the documentary packet and Isabel ruined his shot every time he tried stealing the idea. This caused liam to go onto a temper tantrum. I don't know what Nari did this whole work day.

Work blog 18

During this work day one of my group members were absent. Nari was absent during today's workday. Even though Nari wasn't there we accomplished the same amount of work my group was able to finish the instruction Manuel, tie up the tomato plants, finishing the website, and also doing the infographic which Nari started on however didn't do any work on so we had to redo it. Today I worked to tie up the tomato plants which was easy, finalizing the instruction Manuel, working on the website which was also easy because all I did was add pictures. I also worked on finding information for the infographic which was easy because I just told liam the information and he wrote it down.

 

I think that my group worked diligently today and that's why we accomplished so many of our tasks with a group member gone. I am not surprised about what we were able to accomplish because Nari dose not really contribute to the group. Dane also said at the end of the work day see what we did with ought Nari to liam because liam was panicking because she wasn't there.

Work blog 17

During today's work day I set out to accomplish 4 tasks and I was able to accomplish all those tasks with time to spare. The first task I wanted to accomplish included taking the disease off of my tomato plant by cutting part of the plants that had it this took a long time however it was easy. the second task I wanted to finish was cutting the suckers of my tomato plats so that my tomato plans would grow to be gigantic this wasn't that hard to accomplish however it was quite time consuming. the third task was to water my plants for hou o lau which was by far the easiest job that I had to do. and the fourth job was to finish the instruction manual I enjoy working on this because it is the most challenging assignment and I like working on challenges. Once I finished all of those jobs then I worked on helping Liam out with the documentary, and dane with the website. I was interviewed by Liam for the documentary and for helping dane out I changed and added some captions for photos. Neither of those tasks were challenging

 

I think that me Liam, and dane worked really well today because we were all on task and worked very hard to finish our goals. I was actually surprised today by Nari because she drew a picture however other than that she did no work and spent 3/4 of the time out of the classroom and didn't tell anyone were she was. I am especially irritated with Nari today because when I was cutting the disease off of the tomato plants she came down to the pen and asked if she could write that she cut the disease off of the tomato plants. I said that she can help me with it and then write it on her work blog however she just left after I said that. I am disappointed in Nari because earlier she contributed work to our group but know she contributes absolutely none. I have to work on the infographic at home now in order to finish it.

Dna notes and interesting facts

One thing about DNA that I find very fascinating is the fact that our DNA can reach the moon 6000 times. I find this fact about DNA to be fascinating because human beings only grow to be about 5 feet 10 inches tall and the distance from earth to the moon is 249433 miles which is a very large scale distance. I can't believe that something inside our body can go so much further than we can.

 

Another interesting fact about DNA is that we have 94-99% of it incomes with chimps. I find this interesting because most of us have such different facial appearance from apes for example the amount of hair on our body, our face ( the way it looks for example the shape and size). I also find this interesting because in Charles Derwin's theory of evolution it state that we evolved from ape like creatures and I find this fascinating because a creatures that is so similar acts so different.

 

One more fascinating aspect of DNA is that in everyone's DNA there is 1-4% similar to that of a Neanderthals DNA which means that at some point in history homosapiens and Neanderthals mated. I think that this is wired because I have DNA from an ape like being. I also find it fascinating that two different looking beings mated because I couldn't imagine a human and a monkey mating.

 

Another fascinating aspect of DNA I found is about the human genome. I find it interesting that if you could type 60 words per minute, eight hours a day, it would take approximately 50 years to type the human genome. I also found it interesting because DNA is mainly maid of adenine, guanine, thymine, and cytosine.

Congo March 9th humanities

As I reflect upon Friday's event I think that as a class we did very well. I think that we did this well because we worked really hard and made the event almost perfect. There were a few aspects that didn't go that well for example I asked the manager many times for more pamphlets and the manager completely ignored me every time I asked, also I think that when we announced who won the shoes the tone of the announcers sounded really sad and tired and I herd a parent say "wow this sounds sad" when Michel was announcing the winner of a shoe. However other than that I think that the event was overall a good event.

Some concepts I improved upon during the event included not being nervous when I talk to people. I think that I didn't get that nervous when talking to people. I think I did a lot better in this event rather than others because of the practice I received when I talk to guests. Another concept I improved upon was being able to make a bibliography in mla format. I didn't know how to do this before and as I was working on it I learned how to format my bibliography. Another concept I learned about was the writing proses to be more specific I learned writing fluency as well as the proses of revision. I liked working on the proses of revision because it helps me with the revision of my work as well as making my work look neat and well written.

Ways that this assignment had helped me on my writing proses was by continues repetition and the extensive study of it during class. I enjoyed the way we worked on this and I hope that I can work on a proses similar to this one. I liked writing my prose because it was a different type of writing style and it was an enjoyable type of writing. I think that we might have worked on the prose a bit less compared to the shoes however it was still fun.

Work blog 16

During this work day we needed to complete a lot of tasks some of the tasks that we needed to complete was the finalization of our recipe timeline which was hard, our web site, taking care of our system and the plants for hou o lau Leia, and our instruction manual. We needed to complete all of those things before the end of class. The completion of all these steps was very difficult. Today I was able to finish the finalization of our recipe timeline, taking care of my hydroponic system, and taking care of the plants for hou o lau Leia. I enjoyed working on all those things. I think that the hardest assignment I completed today was the recipe timeline finalization. I worked really hard today and I completed all of these by my self. I enjoyed taking care of our system and the plants for ou o lau lei a. After I completed all those assignments I worked n the instruction manual and the website which was very hard. Liam worked on the instruction manual and dane worked on the website I don't know what Nari did because she never showed me any work and went to the bathroom 7 times and once she left for 25 minutes. I also worked on interviews which was really fun. I was able to interview Dan and Dane today

My team (dane, and liam) worked really hard and productive today while Nari did no work once more. I don't know what to do with Nari because she gets really defensive when I bring up her work ethic.

Work blog 15

During today's work day I worked on fixing my teams hydroponic system because we have a leak somewhere. I checked my whole system and I couldn't find any leaks so it might be something else. I thought that this was very difficult because I didn't find why the water in my system was deleting. During today's work day I also worked on editing my recipe timeline by adding more details to each step for example instead of just writing cut up vegetables I wrote thinly slice vegetables and the place them on the side. I think that this task was very easy because I just had to elaborate on what it says. I also worked on taking suckers off my tomato plants and mr.kaneko helped me. I think that this was very difficult because the suckers grew really big and I thought they were parts of the plant and I didn't see them growing.

 

During this work day my group was missing liam who had most of the documentary and edits to the instruction manual so it was kind of hard with-ought him there. I think that if liam was her we would be able to finish a lot more work because liam does a lot of work and he keeps Nari on task who I saw playing games 4 times today.
